Hello!
I have often heard that a proper “cool down” is essential to keeping the body healthy and injury free when exercising and dancing. Throughout my many years of dancing though I have found that this is very rarely incorporated into the actual dance classes I have taken. My question is, what is an effective cool down that can be used before heading home after a technique class but is also something practical to do in the limited space that is available in the lobby or can quickly be done while other students are gathering their items to leave? Unfortunately there is usually very little time in between when my class ends and when the next one in the studio room begins.
Thank you for any suggetions!
